How to Master Gun Evolution in 7 Steps
Each level shows a top-down arena with three to five enemy waves. Knowing which evolution path to chase before the first shot matters more than aim itself.
Step 1 — Pick the Branch That Fits the Wave
Gun Evolution opens with three branches: rapid (pistol → SMG → minigun), heavy (shotgun → cannon → missile), and tech (laser → plasma → ion). Heavy waves favour rapid; armoured ones favour tech.
Step 2 — Save Boss XP for Boss Waves
Boss kills grant double evolution XP. Skipping the small enemies is sometimes worth it if the boss is right behind them.

Reloads scale with the weapon tier. Tier-three guns reload slower; choose lulls in waves to swap.
Step 4 — Use Cover, Don't Run
Gun Evolution rewards stationary precision more than chase fights. Centred positioning beats peripheral one nearly every time.
Step 5 — Evolve at Boss Walls
The game pauses briefly when you evolve. Trigger evolutions just before a boss wall to use the pause as breathing room.
Step 6 — Memorise Spawn Points
Each level reuses spawn corners. Pre-aim toward the most populated corner before the wave bell.
Step 7 — Cross-Branch Bonus
Late-game cross-branch evolutions (rapid + tech, heavy + rapid) unlock unique weapons. Save evolution tokens for these combos.
